1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ElectricityFinder ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ElectricityFinder is a Texas electricity plan comparison tool that estimates annual costs based on your electricity usage data. The Service is operated by Odigital LLC, an electricity broker registered with the PUCT (Broker Registration BR260062). Registration is not an endorsement by the PUCT.

3. Estimate Disclaimer

Rate comparisons are estimates based on your usage data and current plan rates published on PowerToChoose.org. Actual costs may vary due to changes in rates, fees, taxes, usage patterns, weather, and other factors. Always review the Electricity Facts Label (EFL) for any plan before enrolling. The Service does not guarantee any specific savings or costs.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in an automated manner
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

5. Accounts

You may use the Service without an account. If you sign in with Google, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may delete your account at any time through the app; see the Privacy Policy for what is removed and what we must retain.

5.5 Subscription & Payment

ElectricityFinder offers an optional paid tier:

• $29/yr annual auto-renewing subscription. Your card is charged $29 at signup and again on each anniversary of signup until you cancel.
• Charged via Stripe. Payments are processed by Stripe under PCI-DSS compliance. We do not see, store, or retain card numbers, CVV codes, or expiration dates.
• Cancel anytime via Settings → Manage Subscription, or by emailing support@electricityfinder.online. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• 7-day refund window, one refund per customer. You may request a refund of your most recent charge within 7 days of the charge date, in Settings or by emailing the address above. This refund is available once for the life of your account: after you use it, later charges are not refundable, including renewal charges in future years. A refund ends your premium access immediately and cancels your subscription, so it will not renew and you will not be charged again.

6. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

7. User-Generated Content

The Service does not currently support user-generated content. You provide usage data and plan preferences solely for the purpose of receiving plan comparisons. We reserve the right to remove any data that violates these terms.

8. Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if we believe you have violated these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Texas.

10. PUCT Broker Registration

ElectricityFinder operates under Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) Broker Registration number BR260062. This registration permits us to act as an electricity broker in the State of Texas deregulated electricity market.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
